1) You have been using one or more of the Knitware programs on an older computer and now wish to use the programs on a new computer running Windows 7 or 8
2) You are a new customer wanting to use the Knitware programs on Windows 7 or 8 and you have access to an older computer running Windows Vista/XP etc.
If you've come to this page looking for your serial number(s) for the Knitware software you've purchased, they are emailed to you manually during our office hours. This information is shown in the product descriptions. Emailing or calling us to ask where your serial numbers are will only delay the processing of your order. Thank you for your patience :)
This page describes the support available for the installation and use of the three Knitware programs. If you need help to download the program, please see our Download FAQ. All Documentation - all the guides, tutorials and support files for the Knitware programs - are linked on the left of every page on this website. There is also a Knitware Troubleshooter which contains solutions to the occasional errors and problems which may occur during either the installation or use of the Knitware programs.
Please consult the Documentation before contacting us for support, as it's likely that your problem or question has already been addressed or answered.
All Knitware programs will run on all versions of Windows.Please see our "Knitware to Windows 7/8" page linked on the left of every page on this website if you are running these newer versions of Windows.
Free support for all three of the Knitware programs is offered to licensed / registered users by email only, for the first three months following purchase. We don't offer support in using your computer; we have to assume that you are at least familiar with basic computer usage such as opening programs and saving files etc.We regret that we cannot provide technical support by phone.

Support is available for the first three months following purchase only, as all the help you could possibly need is available here on the website. For general enquiries, please use the email address on our Contact Us page.
When requesting support, please include the following information:
* Knitware program and version * Your name, plus the serial number you were issued for the program. * If this program is installed from a download or from a CD. * Operating system information (be very specific, such as, Windows XP Professional SP 2, Windows Vista Home 64-bit or 32-bit, Mac running Parallels, etc.) * Full details of the problem, including all error messages, step-by-step actions leading to the problem, etc. Please give us as much detail as you can, more is better as it helps us to easily identify what is happening. Just saying "it doesn't work" will not be very helpful to us, you need to be specific. * Whether you have consulted/followed any of the Knitware documentation (Installation Guide, Demo Tutorial, User Manual, etc.) the product Help available when you run the program, our Knitware support page, or any of the help files available here on our website
Providing this information will avoid the need for excessive email interchange and allow us to help you more quickly and efficiently. If you do not include all the relevant information, we will be unable to help you.
